Here are Bramblewood we do produce some very beautiful and friendly babies.
From time to time we do have extra special babies that we feel deserves a little more
recognition. So we have introduced baby of the month page.Here you will learn more
about the baby of the month and why they have claimed this title.
Mister Beam
A red eyed cinnacot snowflake. This little chap started flaken at quite an early
age he was 40% white from 3 weeks old. He is brother to Lunar (below).
Only two of the litter to snowflake from a litter of 7.
Lunar
A champaign snowflake, this little fellow was one of 6. Mother was a grey
snowflakeand dad was was a Sunbeam (see below). He looked alot like dad until he
reached 7 weeksand pushed through mostly white quills.
Sunbeam
An apricot suprise from a litter of 7.
He was from a Cinnamon and Dark eyed cinnacot pairing.
TinkerBelle
Tinkebelle is from our flake lines. Like her sisters she has been
mostly white from a very early age and just improved with age.
In the above pic she was 4 weeks old.
Albino Baby
This little madam was a
surprise
in a litter. Even though albino was in both
parents line. It was a quite a far way back (4 generations). I was expecting
something more cotty.As both parents came from cinnacot lines. But no!
a litter of chocs, greys and albino.You just don't know what your get at times.
Smudge
Here is Smudge, he was from a Brown flake and Grey pairing. As you can see
he is a very dark baby. And one of our most popular hogs. Most people struggle to
breed apricot, we had no problem with apricot,but we have found the dark grey
and salt n pepper one of the hardest colours to re-produce.
